I Want Snow!

It’s been unseasonably warm this winter in Chicagoland.

This time last year we were digging our way out of our second foot of snow. This year – barely even made an inch.

What was in front of our front door last year.

Now, I’m not exactly crazy about being pounded by snow week after week, but this is ridiculous! Afterall, snow has it’s own advantages to warmth and sun.

Here’s 5 reasons why I want snow:

1.) The feel of snow flakes.

Let it snow!

Catch ’em on your tongue, on your finger, or just let them gently tickle your face as you rush from the car.

2.) Winter Wonder Land!

Waking up to this!

And this!

3) Snow sculptures!

Or a simple snowman suffices too 😉

4) Snuggling with my furball.

When it’s cold outside, what better thing to do than to snuggle with your significant other or little ball of fur?

5.) The Skyline.

Even the sky looks prettier after a good snow storm.

Not to mention skiing, sledding, snowball fights, etc.

So I’ll keep my fingers crossed for a good blizzard to shake things up. It’s the uncertainties in life that make it that much more interesting!
